FAQ 3: What do I need to include on our club/chapter pen display?

  • Each exhibitor must have an education poster/display above their pen, and 4-H clubs/FFA chapters will need to identify their pens with club displays.  Stall cards, provided by the fair, are required to be visible at all times.

  • In order to keep aisleways clean, many clubs and chapters use kick-boards attached to the bottom of the pens, but these are not required.  In addition, each exhibitor must furnish the necessary feed and water buckets for his/her animals.

  • More details about herdsmanship can be found in the Livestock Exhibitor Guide.

FAQ 4: What are the record book requirements?

  • 4-H or FFA Record Books are required for market animals for the YVFR.  Please see the Record Book page for downloadable record books, score sheets and other details.
