FAQ 1: What can be entered in the YVFR?

4-H and FFA members may enter beef and dairy cattle, sheep, swine, goats and small animals in the YVFR. Please see the Livestock Exhibitor Guide for specific details for each species.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to enter non-livestock items in the fair, and for information about our open class exhibits, please click here.
FAQ 2: What do I need to bring with me for weigh in?

A filled out Market Health Record for each animal (Found on WSU extension website here)

A 4x6 picture in landscape of exhibitor with each market animal (this will be given to the buyer for display, so please present the exhibitor and animal well)

Steer exhibitors must also bring **State Brand Slip, one set per animal, including Bill of Sale from previous owner and brand slip from Exhibitor to YVFR

Record books need to be turned in by 9:30 pm on Tuesday (weigh in day). *See FAQ 4 for more info
FAQ 3: What do I need to include on our club/chapter pen display?

Each exhibitor must have an education poster/display above their pen, and 4-H clubs/FFA chapters will need to identify their pens with club displays. Stall cards, provided by the fair, are required to be visible at all times.

In order to keep aisleways clean, many clubs and chapters use kick-boards attached to the bottom of the pens, but these are not required. In addition, each exhibitor must furnish the necessary feed and water buckets for his/her animals.
